Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt

On March 31st 2018 Auburn 20-30 and The Gold Country Children’s Foundation will host the 75th Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt at the Gold Country Fairgrounds. This is a free event for the youth of the Auburn community up to 12 years of age with six different age groups including an area for children with special needs along with other activities such as arts and crafts booths. We are seeking sponsorship for assistance in the cost to rent the field, purchasing candy filler for the plastic eggs and prize baskets.

We look forward to hearing from you. Should you have any questions, comments or concerns please contact us @ 530-830-2142 or by email auburn2030@yahoo.com.

The Active 20-30 Club of Auburn #19 is a strictly volunteer, benevolent society dedicated to positively impacting the lives of disabled and disadvantaged children in our community. For more than 85 years we have worked closely and donated our money and services to Kidz Kount, Boys and Girls Club, Stand Up Placer, and other organizations in need.

The Gold Country Children’s Foundation is a newly formed 501(c)(3) public charity managed by the Auburn 20-30 club providing us with the opportunity to provide full tax benefits that come with charitable donations

Hunt Details

Saturday March 31st at the Gold Country Fairgrounds upper field we will be holding our 75th annual community Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt will start at 12:00 noon sharp with over 6000 candy filled plastic eggs, a few dozen traditional hard boiled eggs some of which are specially marked prize eggs redeemable for prize baskets.
The field will be split into separate age groups; 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12 and an area for those with special needs. All age groups will start at the same time 12:00 noon!
The hunt usually only lasts a few minutes so arrive early and join in on some great activities. We will have Tinkergarten joining us this year, an outdoor play-based learning program for kids ages 18 months to 8 years old and will be providing free hands-on activities for the children that will be attending. The Easter Bunny will be hopping in for photo opportunities along with some extra candy to hand out. All these activities are provided at no cost for the children participating in the egg hunt.
Activities will run from 11:00am to 2:00pm with the hunt promptly at 12:00pm

Thank you again for your attention to this event and our club.

A special thank you to the Gold Country Fairgrounds for the use of the grounds for our hunt.
